The 1980s delivered its own brand of iconic cartoons, adding chipmunks, pigs, turtles, cats, dogs and ducks to the characters kids love. It was also an era of new superheroes, sometimes part machine, sometimes part animal, always sensational. 

If you grew up during this animated era, then the names pasted below will spark a flood of memories, but for everybody else, we're guessing beyond the decade's biggest franchises, you can expect a lot of head scratches. Good luck!
