Decades remembers Cindy Williams and Lisa Loring

Decades is remembering the lives of two iconic TV women who we recently lost with a full weekend tribute.

Starting Saturday, February 4 at 12P | 11C, Decades will be remembering Cindy Williams, best known for her role as Shirley Feeney in the classic sitcom Happy Days and the wildly successful spinoff, Laverne & Shirley.

Williams reunited with her American Graffiti co-star Ron Howard on Happy Days, where she played the bottle-capper Shirley Feeney, along with Penny Marshall as Laverne De Fazio. Audiences loved the combination so much that Williams and Marshall's character got their own spinoff show, Laverne & Shirley, which would go on to be among the highest-rated shows on TV during its eight season run.

Say "Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!" as we fondly remember Cindy Williams with 36 back-to-back episodes of Laverne & Shirley.

Then remember Lisa Loring on Sunday, February 5 starting at 6A | 5C as Decades plays 48 back-to-back episodes of The Addams Family. Loring won the nation's heart as strange little Wednesday Addams in the 1964 Addams Family series, a satire of the typical American middle-class nuclear family.

Wednesday Addams has remained a beloved pop culture icon, most recently with the Netflix original series Wednesday. Loring’s interpretation of the character was sweet but gloomy, a young girl with a penchant for collecting creepy pets and headless dolls, but who cried at stories where poor innocent dragons were slain by the knight in shining armor.
