For some of us growing up, nothing was more exciting on Easter Sunday than waking up to a basket full of treats.

Of course, the robin eggs, jelly beans and chocolates bunnies were delivered courtesy of the Easter bunny.

In theory, the holiday's mascot is a cute animal that leaves treats for children in a basket. However, back in the day, sometimes the Easter Bunny could look a little… off.

Some costumes tried to take a realistic approach and failed, while others put too much exuberance in the facial expression. Of course, some costumes did the bare minimum to pass for the furry fellows.
