Lady Be Good Bomber

The Lady Be Good was a World War ll plane that disappeared while on a Naples bombing mission in 1943. It would be 16 years before the aircraft was discovered. An oil exploration team found it in the Libyan desert. But it would be another year before the remains of the five crew members were recovered by a U.S. Army investigation team on February 11, 1960.
