Etch-A-Sketch Arrival
It’s meant to mimic a mini TV set with two white knobs on a signature red plastic frame. The Etch-A-Sketch was launched in time for Christmas 1960. The company that brought the toy to America, The Ohio Art Company, was formed on October 6, 1908. They purchased the rights to license what became the Etch-A-Sketch in 1959.
