We don’t have to tell you about how hotel prices are outrageous these days. A non-glamorous, mid-range hotel anywhere worth vacationing will likely set you back at least $200 each night. That’s why renting houses and Airbnbs is getting more and more popular for vacationers. 

If the space is cool enough, simply grabbing some friends for a week away might be a trip in and of itself. That’s where Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s house comes in.

That’s right. Vrbo has Ball and Arnaz’s house in Indian Wells, California up for rent. While $500 a night might seem steep, the space is 2,400 square feet with three bedrooms, so it’s perfect for a group trip. While it’s currently owned by an interior designer that gave the house a revamp, it’s stayed pretty true to the midcentury design.

Complete with palm trees surrounding the property, a giant pool and a swim-up bar, you don’t even have to leave the house for a vacation. But if you do, it’s only about five miles from Coachella Valley —home of the iconic music festival, and less than an hour away from Joshua Tree National Park.
