R.I.P. Phil Hahn, writer for ''Laugh-In'', ''Sonny and Cher''

Phil Hahn, an Emmy-winning writer for many classic comedy series and sketch shows, has passed away on November 21st, 2019. The writer was 87 years old.
Hahn is best remembered for his work as a writer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, which won him an Emmy award in 1968 and another nomination in 1969. He also worked for years on The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour and the later The Sonny and Cher Show. Other shows that Hahn worked on include Mama's Family, Get Smart, Donny and Marie, and Three's Company.
During his career he also wrote for Dolly Parton, Andy Williams, John Denver, and David Soul. In 1985 he served as the head writer for the U.S. portion of the Live Aid Concert.
Hahn is survived by his wife, twin daughters, and granddaughter.
