Race to the South Pole

It was a race to discover “untouched land”: the South Pole. Two teams, one led by British explorer Captain Robert F. Scott, and the other by Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen reached the Antarctic in October 1911. What happened next was a mix of adventure, tragedy and true pioneering.
