Coca-Cola Bottle Patented
“When you drink out of a Coke bottle, you know you've had a classic experience." Coca-Cola archivist Ted Ryan explains that this classic experience has just as much to do with the shape of the bottle as the sweet and bubbly soda inside. The inspiration for the sleek design came straight from nature, the cocoa pod. The Company’s first bottle was patented on November 16, 1915.
