An Eye For An Eye

After Pearl Harbor was bombed on December 7, 1941, the U.S. began planning its own retaliation. On April 18, 1943, the man behind the sneak attack, Japanese Admiral Yamamoto, was killed in an American operation. His plane was shot down by U.S. troops and the admiral died in the ambush codenamed “Operation Vengeance.”
